HM2 System for Detoxification of Dioxin-Contaminated Soil, Sediment and Fly Ash
| Features |
The HM2 System adds a dioxin degrading agent to ash, sludge and soil contaminated with dioxins and heavy metals, and then it heats and detoxifies the material. After the detoxified ash, sludge and soil is analyzed to prove that it has been detoxified, it is transferred to another site. The DeDIOX dioxin degradation unit, which boasts a degradation rate of 99.9%, is used to degrade the dioxins, which have been heated to a gas state, and then discharge them into the atmosphere at levels above air emission standards. Because the HM2 System was created for on-site detoxification, each unit of the system has been made compact and independent, and the system can be installed in facilities of different sizes and configurations. |
