By actively participating in the Association for Electric Home Appliances' Project for Testing an Integrated Recycling System for Post-Use Electric Home Appliances, we have acquired key technology and expertise in this field. In keeping with the Electric Home Appliance Recycling Law enacted in April 2001, we process and recycle air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators and washing machines. We currently operate two such facilities in Miyagi Prefecture and Hokkaido, and in 2004, we were involved in the construction of the Chubu Eco Technology and Kanto Eco Technology recycling facilities. |
