Among the examples of implementation of Geothermal Heat Pump system produced by Mitsubishi Materials Techno, the followings are examples for cooling/heating system.

(1) Misato-machi, Senboku-gun, Akita

Cooling/heating system in "Study Room of Water"

Rokugo-machi is embraced by abundant clean groundwater, and the clean groundwater flowing discharged from many places. The system utilizes only thermal energy of groundwater as the heat source of heat pump without pumping up groundwater. It operates with low CO2 emission and energy saving.


(2) Izumizaki-mura, Nishi-shirakawa-gun, Fukushima

Floor heating and hot-water supply for an individual house
(this is also used as solar energy water heating system with vacuum storage)

In order to produce hot water both for a floor heating and hot-water supply for an individual house, the system utilizes both a geothermal heat pump and solar energy water heating system with vacuum storage.


(3) Tsugaru-shi, Aomori

Greenhouse

Greenhouse cultivation support system by geothermal energy and wind power.

It is a testing system of greenhouse cultivation support utilizing heat pump and wind power. Heat supplied by heat pump can warm ground by a hot water tube laid in the underground, and warm a space by warm air blowing from the duct.


(4) Akita-shi, Akita

Foundation piles

A water heat storage type geothermal heat pump system by foundation piles for cooling/heating

We installed Geothermal Heat Pump using the foundation piles for the new building of Sanno Junior High School in Akita as ground heat exchangers. The system is utilized as a part of heat source for cooling/heating. This system has the largest scale now as geothermal heat pump system using foundation piles of building.
