Environmental Principles
We acknowledge the importance of humanity's common responsibility for the environment, and provide products and servicing while still taking appropriate social responsibility through corporate activities.
Environmental Policy
Our Head Office practices environmental management based on the following guidelines so as to provide its customers around the world, with a total engineering solution toward the environment.
- Researches and evaluates environmental impacts. Establishes environmental objectives and targets to be achieved with the best available techniques, where economically viable, to lower or to reduce hindered factors.
- Establishes an Environmental Management System (EMS) including prevention of pollution. Head Office plans, implements, evaluates and reviews the programs to achieve the environmental objectives and targets.
- Complies with applicable regal requirements and any additional agreements, which relate to the environmental aspects, between other relevant stakeholders. And implements continual improvement of EMS with maintaining procedures.
- Conducts educational training for employees and trains well-qualified Personnel who can work adequately for environmental conservation.
- Of particular importance:
- Implementation of engineering practices with environmentally-sound design
- Promoting activities to protect the Earth in the areas of environment, resources and energy, etc.
- Resource recycling and reduction of the volume of generated waste
- Resource and energy saving
Basic environmental principles and policies are included on an environmental card, which is distributed to all employees for their thorough understanding. Environmental principles and policies are also disseminated/explained to external parties at their request.
