With a history dating back over 50 years, since the company was founded under the name OTE Kosan Co. Ltd. in 1958, Mitsubishi Materials Techno is an established company that offers a comprehensive range of engineering services, from engineering and equipment manufacturing solutions to environmental, resource and energy-related services.

Following on from the positive results achieved through our previous Medium-Term Management Plan, which was launched in FY2007 and came to an end last year, this year we initiated our New Medium-Term Management Plan (FY2010-2012). The new plan will revolve around the following two basic policies.

· Strengthening earning power through companywide synergy and consolidation

· Continually reinforcing management foundations in order to reach a higher level

Building on existing efforts to continually reinforce our management foundations, we intend to work on consolidating operations and effectively harness companywide synergy with the aim of establishing a highly profitable comprehensive engineering company offering high added value.

These days, CSR is rapidly gaining importance. The essential purpose of any company is to make a sound profit whilst also giving something back to its stakeholders and society. In addition to ensuring that working environments are safe and secure, CSR also includes core corporate activities such as legal compliance, fair trade practices and efforts to minimize apparent risks and prioritize compliance. We are committed to raising awareness of such activities at every level, from top management and executives through to individual employees, in order to enhance our corporate value.

As our slogan “Creating a new Techno through companywide synergy” suggests, we intend to work together as a team to create a brand new future here at Mitsubishi Materials Techno.
