Mitsubishi Materials Techno's SDGs
We are contributing to the achievement of SDGs in various ways throughout our
diverse business areas.
We would like to introduce the relevance of our services and initiatives to SDGs here.
Health and Productivity Management
Good Health and Well-Being
Following the company philosophy and the code of conduct of Mitsubishi Materials Group, which states that "prioritization of safety and health comes first," we make every effort to enhance industrial accident prevention capability, occupational health security, and management of our employees' health. We also support the health of our employees and their families through collaboration with health insurance associations.

Wastewater Treatment and Soil Contamination Countermeasures
Clean Water and Sanitation
Responsible Consumption and Production
We are working on the design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant to improve the quality of wastewater released from an abandoned mine. In addition, we contribute to the reduction of environmental risks at our clients' plants and buildings by properly conducting everything from examinations to countermeasures using our environmental analysis and soil contamination countermeasure technologies.

Use of Renewable Energy
Affordable and Clean Energy
Climate Action
Of the renewable energy resources, we focus on underground natural resources and
are the only group in Japan that specializes in both Geothermal Power Generation (renewable energy)
and Ground Source Heat pump system (renewable heat).
We are building a decarbonized society that runs on renewable energy with our innovations, such as
geothermal resources surveys and geothermal well drilling. We are also introducing systems that use
underground thermal energy for air conditioning and melting snow to power clean energy systems.

Establishment of technology for natural resources survey
Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
Aiming for a "decarbonized society," we have participated in projects (including the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization's (NEDO) research contract, "Research and Development of Supercritical Geothermal Resources") and established survey technologies for the new geothermal resources. Furthermore, we will establish futuristic sustainable exploration technologies for mineral resources that are highly efficient and low-cost through innovations targeting mineral resources existing under land and sea.
